We'll give you a real number before you commit to anything — not a public list price that doesn't fit your case.
You're running this on your own hardware with your own data. A subscription model doesn't fit a tool that isn't renting you any infrastructure.
Yes, for every supported version. Each major version gets security fixes — including fixes for vulnerabilities in the libraries it's built on — for at least 3 years after release. Fixes are backported, so you never have to buy a feature upgrade just to stay patched inside that window. And if we ever stop supporting TatteredNote altogether, licensed customers get the source code — your install doesn't turn into abandonware.
New feature releases, not patches. Upgrades are backwards-compatible with your existing data, and inside a version's support window you never have to upgrade to stay secure.
